Root Canal

A root canal is a simple treatment that saves a tooth when it becomes infected. Infection can be caused by trauma to the tooth, cavities, cracks and chips, or other reasons. There are many symptoms of the infection including swelling and pain to hot or cold.

What is a root canal procedure?

Modern root canal treatment is not like the old days. With modern motors, we are able to remove the nerve of the tooth painlessly and thoroughly clean the inside of the tooth. Once the tooth is cleaned of infection, it is sealed off. A root canal is usually completed in one visit.
